Tim Bulmer

Tim took to painting full time in 1990. Born in Northumberland, he was educated at Sedbergh School and graduated from Wimbledon School of Art with a degree in Theatre Design. Over the years he has been commissioned and collected by a wide variety of clients from every walk of life. Commercial clients have included Taylor’s Port and John Lewis and he was approached in 2014 by Marie Curie Cancer Care and asked to produce a map to mark the Grand Depart in Yorkshire of the Tour de France and was happy to oblige!

Now living in the heart of West Sussex with his wife Sarah, Tim enjoys the variety that comes with creating his watercolour cartoons – be it a cartoon for The Wine Society quarterly newsletter, a set of amusing illustrations for a book, a private commission to mark a special occasion or another image to be turned into a limited edition print or jigsaw for the website! His work is popular world-wide and Sarah also takes it to a variety of shows and gift fairs nearer to home.
