British GT - Donington 2 - 2025

There we are, another season of British GT under our belt and it was a nail biter, right to the end.

The 2025 British GT Championship concluded in dramatic fashion at the Donington Decider, with Charles Dawson and Kiern Jewiss clinching the GT3 title, while Marc Warren and Jack Brown secured the GT4 crown. The GT3 race was dominated by Barwell Motorsport's Lamborghinis, which delivered a commanding one-two finish. Alex Martin and Sandy Mitchell took their first win of the season, ahead of teammates Rob Collard and Hugo Cook, but this was not enough to overhaul 2 Seas Motorsport’s Dawson and Jewiss, who maintained a strong lead despite facing intermittent rain, a time penalty, and two risky on-track incidents. Their closest rivals, including the likes of Giacomo Petrobelli and Morgan Tillbrook, fell out of contention due to accidents and poor tyre strategy in the changing conditions. Strategic missteps by other teams, such as switching to wet tyres during a brief shower, also helped Dawson and Jewiss to secure a fourth-place finish—more than enough to seal the title.

In GT4, the title battle was even more intense. Jack Brown and Marc Warren came out on top after a nail-biting race in which Brown secured both the win and a new record for most GT4 victories, becoming the first two-time champion in the class. Their main rivals, Ravi Ramyead and Charlie Robertson, pushed them hard, with the championship lead swinging back and forth throughout the race. Ramyead’s Century BMW had the early advantage, but additional Compensation Time from their previous result played a crucial role. A late rain shower added further unpredictability, with Blake Angliss temporarily reclaiming the lead for Mahiki Racing’s Ginetta. But as conditions improved, Brown pulled off a decisive move at the Melbourne Loop to take the lead and secure both the race win and the title.
