24H Series - Dubai 24hr - 2026

The closing stages of this year’s Michelin 24H Dubai produced high drama, delivering a thrilling finale to the Michelin 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy. Team WRT emerged victorious with a stunning one-two finish, its BMW M4 GT3 EVO pair dominating the conclusion after a tense final half hour.

The winning No.669 BMW, driven by Jordan Pepper, Kelvin van der Linde, Ben Tuck, Fran Rueda and GT3 Drivers’ Champion Anthony McIntosh, opted against a late splash-and-dash, instead committing to fuel saving until the flag. Pepper executed the strategy perfectly to secure victory by a lap over the sister No.27 BMW of Christopher Hasse, Thomas Kiefer, Julian Hanses, Mathieu Detry and Stanislav Minsky. Both Pepper and van der Linde praised Team WRT’s strategy and teamwork after the race.

Heartbreak struck late for Paradine Competition’s No.992 BMW, which had been on course for an outright podium and AM class victory before a front-left brake disc and tyre failure forced retirement with less than 30 minutes remaining. This opened the door for Winward Racing’s Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO of Maro Engel, Luca Stolz, Daan Arrow and Sergey Stolyarov to claim third in GT3.

The race began with TFT Racing on pole but early Code 60 interruptions and intense battles at the front quickly reshuffled the order. BMW and Porsche traded positions through the opening stints, while multiple neutralisations, retirements and pit strategies continually altered the leaderboard. As night fell, BMW’s pace became increasingly decisive, aided by misfortune for several rivals, including wheel failures and mechanical retirements.

Further drama unfolded overnight as two Dragon Racing Ferraris retired, most notably the No.777 Al Manar entry after a heavy impact at Turn Nine, from which driver Al Faisal Al Zubair fortunately walked away unhurt. Despite the chaos, the leading contenders remained in contention until the decisive final stint.

Behind the overall winners, Herberth Motorsport’s No.10 Porsche 911 GT3 R secured PRO-AM honours with a fifth-place finish overall. Continental Racing by Simpson Motorsport claimed the AM class win and title with its Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II, finishing 10th overall. Team WRT’s No.669 BMW also sealed the overall GT3 Middle East Trophy title.

Class victories were spread across the field, with Tierra Outdoor Racing by FACH winning the 992 class, Seblajoux Racing securing both 992 titles for the season, Leipert Motorsport taking the GTX race win, and Team CMR claiming the GTX title. Cerny Motorsport remained unbeaten in GT4, while asBest Racing’s Cupra TCR victory wrapped up both the TCE and TCX championships, rounding out a dramatic and memorable edition of the 24H Dubai.
