Gallery – Chris Lazenby

This is the gallery for the work from myself, Chris Lazenby. I have quite a few drawings both in progress and in the pipe line. I do also take commissions, so if you have an idea for a design, please do get in touch.

I’ve spent a lot of time traveling up and down the A19 in the north of England. Travelling north you can see Penshaw Monument on the left, just to the west of Sunderland. One day I took the time to go and see it close up and it’s very impressive. Well worth a visit.

‘The Deep’

Our latest design, The Deep aquarium in Hull. I visited this as a child many years ago and again as an architecture student more recently. I’ve been wanting to do this one for a while and am happy with the results. This will be available online soon as limited edition prints, greetings cards and postcards. Please visit our Etsy page to purchase our work.

‘The Niesen’

We were very pleased with our latest commission of the Austrian mountains and the peak of the Niesen mountain in particular. To see it framed really finished it off though. All our commissions come framed and we offer our full range of frames. With this one, the customer doesn’t live locally so we mounted the print and then offered up a selection of frames. We sent photos of these to the customer for them to choose. We can always suggest a frame which matches the prints but sometimes it depends on where the final piece will be hung.

‘Austrian Mountains’

Our latest commission, a lovely Austrian mountain scene. All our commissions are done with close collaboration with the clients so they know they are getting what they want. If you have something in mind, please get in touch.

‘Scarborough Castle’

Our latest illustration of Scarborough Castle is now available from our Etsy Store, along with the rest of our work and the work of our guest artists.

I spent a lot of time as a child cycling around the Wolds and Thixendale area. I’ve been looking at doing a drawing of this area for a while. Here it is and I hope you like it –
