British GT round 7 - Portimao - 2023

The British GT Series usually has a trip out to Spa each year but for 2023 it went to Portimao instead, a circuit we’ve only visited once before so not one we know well. Coming from the north of England, we found it rather warm on the southern coast of Portugal for 3 days but luckily it wasn’t too hot. What was hot however was the action on track, we’ve not had chance to watch the race back yet but it was certainly full of action from the outset.

We now have a few weeks off from motorsport, next confirmed race is Brands Hatch for British GT in September but there’s a chance we might head to Virginia International Raceway on late August for IMSA.
