Our First Attempt At Wire Wool Spinning Photography –
We’ve seen photos like these cropping up around on the internet recently and wanted to try it for ourselves. Luckily we live in a lovely place, with some stunning venues to include in the foreground or background. Thanks to Jake for your assistance with the spinning!
Above was our first attempt, under a road bridge, down an old railway line. I love how the fire itself actually lights the whole scene, with no need for extra lights. For our second attempt (below), we wanted to try something different and added in Mrs Lazenby Visuals, hiding under an umbrella. This didn’t quite work out as we had hoped, therefore we’ll certainly be trying again soon. Please have a look at the rest of the images here – http://www.flickr.com/photos/lazenbyvisuals
As well as the inclusion of the umbrella, the attempt above also included water. I love the golden glow the fire creates across the beck. I’ve an idea to try some more around water.
We’ll be out again soon to try and capture some more Wire Wool Spinning. Watch this space…..
